Oatman takes pride in keeping its town as authentic as possible, giving visitors a look back into history, showing the wild west as it really was. Open all year!

This is our 18th annual Oatman Sidewalk Egg Fry.
The egg fry is at high noon on the July 4th, Fri. One of the Ghostrider Gunfighters shoots off a round and the fryers have 15 minutes to make the most edible fried egg. We provide two official eggs and a piece of foil. We tried cooking right on the sidewalk at first but the eggs cook right into the sidewalk and are hard to clean up. The fryers can use any type of solar heat. Mirrors, magnifying glasses etc. The are several categories with medals and prizes. First, second and third and also showmanship ( costumes and gizmos and gadgets) youngest fryer and one for the fryer that has traveled the farthermost. Usually have at least one that has traveled here from the east coast or Europe, etc. There is no charge, all they have to do is show up. The participants are responsible for protecting their eggs from the burros. There is usually a few teams of two that have some pretty sophisticated gismos. Come on up and accept our challenge to join in the eggcitement.

Wild West Shootouts in Oatman, Arizona! Don't miss the Ghost Riders, Oatman's oldest Gunfighter organization taking to the streets at 1:30 & 3:15 pm daily. These Ghost Rider desperado's have been entertaining crowds young and old for over 20 years here in Oatman, Arizona. Shotgun Weddings and Tour Bus Hold Ups are also available by the Ghost Rider Gunfighters. There also is other wild west gunfights daily at 11 am and others throughout the day. So don't miss the fun and excitement...just listen for the announcements then the unmistakable sound of a double barrel shotgun alerting the town of the impending wild west shoot out! Ghost Rider Gunfighters collect donations from their Wild West Shootouts for the Oatman Chamber of Commerce.
